Listening to the radio last night I heard a commercial for what seems to be a new local family venue called Kids Quest. Located at Red Hawk Casino in Placerville, Kids Quest is an hourly child care service. Kids Quest is supervised by licensed professionals trained in first aid and CPR techniques for children 6 weeks to 12 years old.

The turkey's been carved, the pumpkin pies been devoured and tomorrow is black Friday, the biggest shopping day of the year. I am not planning on doing much shopping tomorrow. So Im a day past the worst of the cold, but still feeling kinda yucky and a little pissed off to boot. While becoming a new mom is a blissful, enriching and powerful experience, it can also be very lonely. If you are not surrounded by girlfriends with their own little ones it can be difficult to figure out how to meet other moms.
