So I have already begun my Christmas shopping for my boys and extended family.  My goal is to have everything done by December 1st so that I can really enjoy the month.  We are planning on multiple trips to admire Christmas lights, family photos, a visit to Santa, etc.  So one of the gifts that I plan to purchase for my niece is a really wonderful puzzle from T.A.G. - Think and Grow Toys.  They have a wide variety of puzzles and other educational toys.  But my favorite is a personalized name puzzle that each of my boys received for their third birthdays from their grandma.  They are wooden with big 3 - 4" letters.  You can have any name or phrase created and both my boys have puzzles with their first and last names.  Puzzles are a great way to teach kids about hand-eye coordination, shapes, letters and more. 

Having these puzzles helped both of my boys learn the letters and how to spell their names.  So this Christmas I plan to buy my niece Maggie, her own puzzle.  Not only is this a wonderful functional and educational gift, but it's a wonderful heirloom that I look forward to passing down to grandkids one day.
